Another Friday night

It is Friday night once again, and I'm waiting for Preston to get home from the football game. Our team won, and we are doing well in play-offs. It is so nice to go to the games when we are winning.
Basketball season has now begun, Breck will have her first game on Monday. She started out on "B" team this week, but has now been moved up to the "A" team. I'm proud of her, but it means that I will be spending a lot more time at school waiting for her to get out of practice.
Chad is going to be playing basketball also, I think.
And of course all of Preston's spare time does go to b-ball. But that is okay, I love to sneak in while he is coaching practice and just watch him work. I love to see the way that he interacts with his players and just watch how he takes control of all that is going on. I love just seeing him coaching because he makes it seem almost effortless, just seeming in control of everything and knowing how things should be. I really find a lot of pride in how he leads his team. He is so selfless, and it really shows in how dedicated he is to his players.
As for me, I went back to the doctor on Wednesday, and my progress is amazing. He doesn't want to see me again for another three months. I only have next week left in therapy, and I will be on my own. Now I am just having a lot of pain in my foot because of my change in walking. They want me to see a specialist, but I think I have had enough of doctors for awhile. I think I will just take it easy and avoid too much activity that will be tough on my feet.
I am looking forward to Thanksgiving and having sometime off of work, I need a break. I will write more soon. May God bless you all.
