Breck's team had their first basketball game this past Monday and they won! The team looks like it will be fairly succesful, and they will have a great team when they get into high school. I don't want to think about that yet though (I still have almost a year before I have to think about that).
Chad is doing well, but he is upset about not being choosen to be in GT. I told him that he will just have to work hard this year, and maybe they will test him again next year so that he can be put into the program.
Preston's team had their first scrimage this past Tuesday and they won, but they still will have to work hard to do well in district. Their are some great teams in our district. I still love to watch him coach whether they win or loose (of course he is always in a much better mood when they win). Those of you that know him know he can't stand to loose at anything.
I am up to my ears in research papers that have to be graded before noon on Monday when our grades are due. I will be working on them this weekend. I only have about 80 left to grade, but it takes a while for each one. So, I have my work cut out for me. All of my classes will start on their first major paper (not counting research) so, I will have plenty to grade over the Thanksgiving holiday. Breck is thrilled about this prospect, I could tell by her enthusiasm today in class.
I'm looking forward to the fast approaching holiday, I have so much work to do before then though that I just want to get through the school day today. I will write more when I can find my way out of the papers.

Tell Chad to hang in there. His smart juices will just get extra attention. :) Way to go Breck! We're proud of you! Hang in there with the grading...there is an end in sight. :)
